If they aren't sata 6gb drives then it doesn't matter. Most drives don't transfer data anywhere near that fast.

RE: My build
Yup, unless you have a SATA 6.0Gbps SSD, it's not an issue.

RE: My build
I bought this SSD http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WT4...B003WT4Y0S and this optical drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...67296&SID=. So is 3 GB/s good enough for them?

RE: My build
Yeah, no optical drive can saturate SATA 3Gb/s and that SSD is less than 375MB/s for read/write so you're fine.

RE: My build
The two CPU fan 4 pins usually are able to stack on top of each other.

RE: My build
How do they stack? I need more elaboration or a picture. I have an HD audio and an AC'97 connector (they are hooked up to each other), I put the HD Audio in JAud1 but I don't know where to put the AC'97 connector. It has the same pin missing as the HD Audio but I don't see any other ports where it can plug in on my motherboard. My SATA power cable isn't long enough to connect to the optical drive Sad.

RE: My build
You can plug the second fan into a 3-pin header on the motherboard. There should be only one way that you can insert it, so you'll know whether you're inserting it on the right side or not.

You only need to use either HD Audio or AC'97, so that's fine.

As for the too short SATA cable, can't you just put your optical drive in a lower 5.25" drive bay?

RE: My build
I've used all 4 system fan spots on the motherboard and all I have left is 1 cpu spot and 2 cpu fans to plug in.
My bro had a longer SATA cable so I didnt have to move the optical drive. I guess I should order a Y splitter for the CPU fans?
