Awesome! I hope that the building process goes smoothly for you and that everything works right away, without any DOA parts.

RE: My build
I got emails saying my order shipped (3 emails, my order was broken down). However, when I checked My Account on Newegg, my order disappeared. Is that normal? I'll do that Mathieu.

For anything that has to do with the orders themselves, NewEgg are the ones that you should ask, for they'll know better than me with those matters.

RE: My build
I noticed my motherboard (MSI P67A-G45 B3 P67) isn't on the build page anymore because it's not that reliable. I now feel bad about buying it. Can I ship it back for free? I didn't have to pay shipping on it.

I'd try it out first, if it works first, not point in returning it. Besides, unless it's not working, NewEgg will charge you a restocking fee. It's not that bad, reliability wise, it's just that there are more reliable motherboards in the same price range, hence why I prefer to recommend them.

RE: My build
My bro hooked up his computer to my monitor. I don't see any dead pixels and it looks great. I honestly wasn't sure what motherboard to get. All I wanted it to do was support my 8 gb of memory (and have room to upgrade) and be able to have SLI/Crossfire. I don't care much about the ports... As long as I can plug in 2 hard drives. I hope my fan isn't too big for it though.

RE: My build
The only foreseeable problem with that mobo is if you are gonna do an sli/crossfire setup, you're gonna block some sata ports (depending on the size of the card).

I'm in the same boat. Before I had to return the board, I basically built my entire machine, and the SATA ports are very difficult to get to. Make sure you plug in all your SATA cables before installing your cards. Also, there are two right angle cables that come with the board, but if you need more, you'll have to order more (or pick them up at your local computer shop -- they're about $6/ea.). For some reason, this board doesn't come with very many cables.

Unless you have six SATA cables to plug in, you'll probably be fine. You'll be able to plug in at least one 6 gb/s easily.

RE: My build
I just got 1 hard drive and 1 optical drive. I hope I can connect both of them to the 6 gb sata.
