RE: New Build based on 2011 Build
Hey Mathieu - Update on progress and also providing some pics of build so far. So at a standstill at this point as I needed a 4 slot bridge versus a 3 slot. Return and new one in progress. Meanwhile been doing some research on how to connect the Corsair H100i V2 with the Water Pump header. Wanted your thoughts on what I've researched so far and summarized:

1) recommendation to connect water pump to water pump header which provides enough current to run the pump at max speed.
2) connect both fans to CPU Fan and CPU Opt don't connect to water pump fan splitter
3) this configuration will allow the ASUS suite to monitor and manage the fan speeds.

Thoughts?

Second thing I've done:

The Enthoo Luxe case has a PWM hub which recommends connecting the CPU Fan header. After researching, it makes sense to connect to another header like a chas/cas fan header that provides PWM signals and use the temp sensors in the motherboard manage the case fans and the cpu temp sensors manage the cpu fans

Thoughts?
