Graphics Card driver crashing
I got a brand new EVGA Geforce GTX 750 TI for my newly built computer, and the graphics driver crashes on certain games. Some of those not even demanding, I was wondering if there was any known fix for this without spending money on new parts/Software? I will be glad to provide any necessary information about the computer that is needed.

What would help is to know what version of the drivers you are using and what games. Often a combination of both can cause crashes. Will help us diagnose.

Also: you using it alone or in SLI?

also need to know any bsod codes generated and if any other tests on the other components have been performed or if the video card has been stress tested.

RE: Graphics Card driver crashing
I am using it alone, I have windows 10. Games like ARK and Squad have crashed on it. I have stress tested it. I use the Geforce Game Ready Driver v. 361.75. I have not gotten any bsod codes. All that happens is the game closes and windows tells me the driver crashed, or the computer freezes and needs to be restarted. I also tested the CPU and it performs very well. (Its a Pentium G3258 running at 4.5 Ghz.)

RE: Graphics Card driver crashing
How did you stress test your CPU overclock? I'd double-check that to rule out that it isn't the cause of the game crashes/system freeze.

What power supply are you using?

I stress tested it using BurninTest and PerformanceTest.

I use an Antec VP-450 Power Supply. The one you recommended.

RE: Graphics Card driver crashing
it may not be your hardware as both of those games are poorly optimized. for ARK may need to roll the driver back to get it to work. there has been a problem with the newer drivers and open gl paticularly with 7 series cards. the ark board recommends 355.98 to start with to find the driver it quits crashing with.

if the rolled back driver appears to work with ARK then try it with Squad but be aware that this is a more cpu intensive game for a dual core cpu. if it appears to run but you get crashes or lag during intense fights then check your cpu usage with task manager to make sure you arent spiking at 100%.
