Budget Wireless Gaming Headset Suggestions?
Hey all,

What suggestions/deals do you have for budget (<$80) wireless gaming headsets?

Backstory:
So I am currently using a Turtle Beach EarForce X11 gaming headset that I bought years ago, and which has a damaged part so it doesn't quite fit snugly anymore (literally being held together with tape). It's usable, but I'm thinking if possible I'd like to get a new one (maybe ask for a last minute Christmas present or some such). In addition, I don't play any games that require rapid response to minute audio details (ie Call of Duty, etc), so I think I'd like to go wireless for the convenience. I'm looking for a wireless headset that's good quality (virtual surround preferred) while also budget-y (sub 90 or better...), possibly on a good sale/deal.
(PS - A tower/mount to place it on/charge is a major plus, but by no means a deal breaker...and frankly something I'm not expect at my target price point... I also have an XBOX one, which most of my FPS gaming is on, so something that can work with that as well is a bonus)

For my part I did some "Best" article digging, and a few (albeit sometimes older) suggestions popped up, in case anyone has input on these options specifically. I'm currently leaning towards a refubished G930 (link below) with which I'd splurge the $7 for the extended warranty...

RE: Budget Wireless Gaming Headset Suggestions?
either of those are good headsets unless you have a fat head. lol. a lot of headsets seemed to be molded from people with skinny to normal sized heads. the g930 is a very popular set.

the drawback is going to be xbox functionality. i know steelseries and astro gaming makes a couple that are cross platform compatible but are like 300 bucks. those you listed will probably work with with ps4 but not with xbox. this is mainly due to microsoft not allowing audio throughput thru the usb connector.

i know the steelseries uses an adapter for xbox one use but i do not know if they make seperate universal adapters for other headsets and then you have the problem of loading drivers onto xbox.

good luck
