Should fit just fine, 550W is plenty enough too.

Thanks for the advice and a quick update. I got the GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 from Amazon. So far, performance looks good. I don't seem to have any coil whine issues, but I was also coming from the old 6870 where any game would cause it to blow air loudly. As of now, most of the noise is coming from the top fan in my case, which seems to be loose or is causing some part of the case to rattle, but that's another problem for another day...
