New Computerized Display This Year
Added one new song to my display this year. A lot more fun this year using my new Gaming PC, Mech-Keyboard and Surround Display.

Added a few new channels and colors this year. Not any major changes, mostly just added more fine control to the existing fixtures, plus a few more colors.

Next year is intelligent, color-changing RGB bulbs Smile

I love it. It makes I even funnier with the end where it says directed by "enter your name here". I love how you faded out the Santa face and had the mouth going. Just awesome.

I agree with Phrosty the Santa mouth was hilarious. I was watching your other videos as well and it's impressive. What do your neighbors think?

Luckily, the houses are staggered, so no blinding lights into their bedroom windows. The music goes out the show computer's audio jack into an FM transmitter, so noise depends on the car stereos. No complaints yet!

A nice way to combine my love of PCs, lights, music, and complete lack of any other hobbies.

Oh yeah...totally on purpose!

...I was wondering why the video was 30 seconds longer than the display...

It's just blocked on mobile devices (from what I can tell). Their policy is really annoying. I had a friend's video of his kid swimming get blocked because Katty Perry was playing on a boombox across the pool.

It all depends on the record label. The smart record labels just include a link to buy the music next to your video. The worst get it taken down. Most leave it up for PCs/Browsers, but block it on mobile devices for some reason.

Yeah, I hate it when videos aren't allowed to play on my smartphone. It's just retarded and frustrating if you ask me. Not like record labels make any sense mind you... Dodgy

Yeah, I'd like to know the legalities that would allow something to be played on a laptop, but not a tablet...in the same room of the same house...

What if I have a Windows Surface? Can I only watch the video when the keyboard's plugged in?

Agreed about record labels. They're still terrified of the interwebs. Surprised they even managed to survive the digital age this far. We'd probably still be using some version of CDs vs any digital distribution, if it wasn't for *shudder* Apple/iTunes.

Hahaha I love the windows surface question. I actually think Napster is the one that revolutionized digital music as we know it.

But, I had looked up the thread to show somebody at work and it told me it was removed. Oh well, I am buying a house soon and I want to try and do something like this.
