Question  Wireless Controller for HTPC Steam Gaming
Hey Guys,

Hoping to get some recommendations on a wireless keyboard/controller for playing basic games on Steam. I still prefer wired but my tv and htpc are kind of far from my couch (7-8feet). Right now, I'm playing games like: "Thomas Was Alone", "Hammerwatch" and "Final Fantasy VII" which all use pretty basic controls. Any ideas?! Thanks!!

RE: Wireless Controller for HTPC Steam Gaming
My suggestions would be the Microsoft Xbox 360 controller for windows

For me personally it's one of the best controllers I've ever used. The others such as the Logitech F310 and the Steelseries (it's wired though) is just not for me.
But then again, I guess it all came to personal preference

One of my friends uses the F710 and he said it was good though

I second the Xbox controller.

You can buy the "USB Wireless Receivers" on Amazon for $20-ish. Just a heads up, most of them are not "official" Microsoft products, even though they say "Xbox" or "Microsoft" on them. All it means is you may require a Google search or two to get it up and running. It's still the best option, IMHO.

VolkFrost and Rapajez,

Thanks for the tips! I saw that "Microsoft"/"Xbox" controller on Newegg with some good reviews. I'll check that out! Thanks again!
