Low-End Workstation (~400$)
Hey guys, I'm build a PC for my brother. My father owns many apartment buildings and it is becoming a burden for him to keep track of everything on paper. My brother has volunteered to do the paperwork for him but needs a PC. My budget is anything less than 400$ USD. I have hard drives, mice keyboards and a monitor so I don't need to buy those.

CPU: Intel Pentium G850 Sandy Bridge 2.9GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core

Mobo: ASRock H61M-DGS LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX

Case: NZXT Source 210 S210-001 Black

PSU: COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus RS500-PCARD3-US 500W

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600

OS:Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - OEM

Grand total:$346.26

Any recommendations are welcome and appreciated.

Intel Pentium G2020 would be better or you can get an i3 if it falls in your budget.
Get the Antec vp450

The G2020 is slightly faster and less expensive, a good choice. A Core i3 is most likely overkill for office tasks.

+1 for the Antec VP450. Far more reliable than the COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus.

For the hard drive: Make sure that it's a SATA hard drive, old IDE hard drives are no longer supported by the vast majority of new motherboards.

Also, no DVD drive?
