MOBO/Case Question

Question  MOBO/Case Question
So, I just ordered all my parts for my budget PC(~800.00USD) and literally just realized something.

When looking at my parts, it seems my motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but my case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports.

As I am completely new to building pcs, I want to know if this is a major thing if I don't have those ports on my case but my motherboard does.

Will I need to get a new case for it to be compatible?

Information on hardware: Motherboard is: ASRock Z77 Pro3 ATX LGA1155
Case is: Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid Tower Case

RE: MOBO/Case Question
Well, what happens is that you'll have USB 2.0 ports on the front of the case, instead of USB 3.0. Those are supported by the motherboard, it has onboard USB 2.0 AND USB 3.0 headers (different headers). So compatibility wise, this isn't a problem.

The downside? USB 2.0 (effective throughput up to 35 MB/s or 280 Mbit/s) is far slower than USB 3.0 (Effective throughput up to 4 Gbit/s). If you transfer a lot of large files from an external drive, this will be a major annoyance. Otherwise, it's not a huge deal.

If you like the Rosewill CHALLENGER and want USB 3.0, there's a Rosewill CHALLENGER-U3 which features USB 3.0 front ports.
