>Still Not Solved Random freezes, sometimes a bluescreen if I wait
I'll be watching a high definition video or playing a game and that's the only times I recall it freezing. Sometimes the freezes will occur multiple times in a row and sometimes I'll be using the computer for hours and a freeze will happen, only for a freeze to not repeat again for a very long time. When the computer freezes I hit reset and upon reboot there doesn't seem to be any damage. I've even installed games and software without restarting the computer only to have the computer freeze and they still work properly upon reset.

Problem is still not solved.

I vote for corrupt Windows or maybe memory module problem. Check to make sure your memory modules are properly seated.

You helped me pick this out remember? I guess you've helped a lot of people since then.

Custom build.

Regarding the memory modules, I remember they were extremely hard to push in to the point I thought it might crack the motherboard, but they went in and that's all that matters. It couldn't be a memory problem. Either the memory modules are in or they're not, they can't be loose at all or else the clamp wouldn't have shut.

I looked back in your posts to see the exact specs and there was a lot of different items you were looking at. Can you maybe post what your exact specs are? Smile

if it freezes during video playback or gaming, it could be the gpu especially since its a superclocked card. not enough info to troubleshoot. like phrosty said post exact specs, along with any BSOD output messages.

Yeah, exact spec is key and honestly a few screen caps of your bios/uefi as well.
It can be caused by anything from hardware oc, ram voltages, ssd parameterization (if u have it, but realized prob not... So good, one less thing!Smile ), and simply a corrupt win install.

It's probably as mentioned by pwnbroker, the gpu, as this sort of thing only happens during video playback or gameplay

How do I post BSOD output messages? What is that?
