1 year old computer problems D:
So here is the problem:

I have been using my PC I built for about a year now and have noticed a very annoying problem. First off, sometimes when I play a game my computer restarts after five minutes of gameplay. What is weird is that after it restarts I can play a game for hours on end.... My second problem is that my computer randomly restarts when I set something down on my desk. Sometimes even setting down a coffee cup will set it off! When the computer restarts the fans do not turn off (The LED lights on the fans to not turn off either). Sometimes the fans accelerate and some times they don't when the computer restarts... sorry for all this "sometime" business!

Here is my Computer Components:

Motherboard: 1 x ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

CPU: 1 x Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel

RAM: 1 x G.SKILL Value Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-8GBNT

GPU: 1 x ASUS GTX680-DC2O-2GD5 GeForce GTX 680 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

PSU: 1 x OCZ ZX Series 850W Fully-Modular 80PLUS Gold High Performance Power Supply compatible with Intel Sandybridge Core ...

SSD: Crucial 256 GB m4 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SATA 6Gb/s CT256M4SSD2

CASE: Antec DF 85

OPTICAL DRIVE: 1 x ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM

This is really annoying and I need help! Thank you so much for looking....

Also check the power supply, make sure all cables are fully inserted and are not unseated.

If the fans are ramping up, it might be temps also. Use a program like HWMonitor to look at temps. Also, does it only occur while gaming/intensive activities?

Ram is seated correctly and all the power cables are seated. The shut offs happen in a lot of games... but only in the first 5 mins... after that restart then it plays fine. What are normal temps for borderlands 2?

Update* I have updated my bios from v1.1 to v3.1... I will use it for a few days and see if it stopped the shut downs....
