I wanted to thank everybody on here for building up my confidence and answering my questions. I can proudly say i have built my first computer and I intend to never buy a pre-built computer again. The build went really smooth and took me only a few hours.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest

COOLER MASTER R4-BMBS-20PK-R0 Blade Master 120mm Case Fan

CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2B1600C9

HIS IceQ X H787QN2G2M Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support

BIOSTAR TZ77XE3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

I did up the CPU cooler with the extra fan in a push/pull configuration and the rear fan lines up perfectly for exhausting out the back of my case. CPU never goes above about 35 degrees. We'll see later when i try another first and try overclocking a little. I'll hang out on here and read about that and to build up some more confidence before attempting that.

Everything seems to be running perfectly she boots up super fast and runs diablo 3/starcraft 2 on highest setting with no problems what-so-eva. I'm thinking of picking up a first person shooter type game and try that out in the near future.

The monitor i picked up is insane, its huge and I love it. I also picked up a Logitech G500 mouse sometimes it seems a little big for my hands but I'm not unhappy with my choice. And a Logitech Gaming keyboard for the back lit keys and was a reasonable price compared to other gaming keyboards or even non gaming keyboards for that matter.

The case was a pleasure to work with and i think i did a great job of cable management. I'll post pics in a week or two as I'm away from home until then.

Anybody on the fence about building they're own computer take it from me its a great feeling when your done and your definitely getting a better product then what you would get buying it already assembled. Its also a lot easier then you would think as like i stated before this was my very first build and I assembled everything in a evening with only knowledge from these forums and i watched a newegg how to build your own computer video. Take the plunge you won't regret it!
