Gaming PC Build
I've decided to take the plunge and build a gaming computer instead of spending an equivalent amount of money on a gaming laptop that wouldn't last and would have worse performance. I plan to connect this PC to the 42" HDTV in my living room (effectively using it like a console). Will all these parts play nicely together?
Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K SSD: Samsung 830 128GB HDD: WD Caviar Blue 500GB Optical: Lite-On iHAS124-04 GPU: GeForce GTX 660 Ti RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws (2 x 4GB) PSU: Corsair Enthusiast TX650 Motherboard: UNDECIDED ---Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H ---Biostar TZ77XE3 (or E4) ---ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Case: NZXT Phantom 410 The goal is to keep the cost around $1000 and get the best quality possible for playing multi-platform games (and maybe the occasional MMO). Any thoughts from an experienced builder? |
