Graphics card not detected
I went with the Tier 2 build. The graphics card is seated correctly. It has power as the fan spins up when booted, I'm just having trouble with getting the graphics card detected.

Right now it is only running the Intel HD graphics. In the UEFI it is set to use PCI-E, but in the UEFI it doesn't show that anything is in the PCI-E slot. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't have another computer to test the card in so I can't rule out that it's a bad card. Any ideas?

Chris

Re: Graphics card not detected
Try it in another pci-Express 16x slot.

RE: Graphics card not detected
I've tried it in both slots, both with the same result.

Update: I was able to get the video card to work! I thought I had the 6850 but I had the 6870 so I needed to connect the second 6-pin connector.

On a different, but related note, I am unable to choose 1920 x 1080 for the resolution. I bought a monitor specifically for that and now I can't figure out why it won't even give me that option.

Glad to hear you've figured it out. For the resolution, have you installed the video card graphic drivers?
