Question  Logitech USB Desktop Mic - poor gain?
Hey Guys,

Been messing around with the Logitech USB Desktop Mic and it only picks up my voice if my lips are basically touching the thing!

I've played with all my audio settings. It seems a lot of people are having similar issues based on reports online. Some say it's a Windows 7 compatibility issue. There was even one convincing story that the soldering was done improperly on a large batch of these. I'd like to keep it about 12" away from my mouth. Not too much to ask, right?

Anyone come across this issue? Any fixes?
As always, thanks for any replies.
