Virtual Memory issue

Virtual Memory issue
I was playing Killing Floor on my new setup, but stumbled across an error saying I ran out of virtual memory and it shut the game down. This of course only happens if I try to play it on max settings at 1920x1080p resolution.

Question is - what piece of hardware should I look into upgrading to prevent this?

My setup is

- BIOSTAR TZ77XE3 LGA 1155 Intel

- Intel Core i5 3550

- Corsair Memory 8 Dual Channel Kit DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

- SanDisk Extreme SSD 120GB GB SATA 6.0

- OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W

- GIGABYTE GV-N450OC2-1GI GeForce GTS 450 (Fermi) 1GB

-Seagate Momentus XT ST95005620AS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache

I find it a bit hard to believe the 8gig of ram wouldn't be enough, but I'm not 100% sure what the problem is. Maybe the vid card?

RE: Virtual Memory issue
First step: Try not to play the game on max settings.
EDIT: What kind of Windows do you have?

RE: Virtual Memory issue
prolly not your machine. there were a lot of problems with that game and im sure all of the problems havent been fixed either. if you play it on steam you might be able to input a support ticket, or you might search on the steam forums for a fix.
