I have i big problem!when i start my computer,its starts well,but i have to wait a lot(today i had to wait 1 hour) till my monitor had started!my computer has 4 years

when your computer finally starts is it at the desktop screen? or is it still booting? also, try just letting your monitor set itself to sleep instead of turning off. The boot time for the monitor is drastically lower.

Is the on/off light flashing? I had a problem like this with an old monitor, and eventually had to get a new monitor because it eventually wouldn't turn on at all.
