Yes, but you'd be running the game with low level of graphic details.

RE: Would these specs run d3?
I see... planning to buy my gf a laptop for d3 and on a budget between $500-600 if possible. Those specs are for a laptop on slickdeals today for like $480 and was planning to buy. I know the best gaming laptops haven't been updated yet but is is there something you would recommend today? ( This is what I was looking at in the article on best gaming laptops, Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 (1024DMU)...its rising price around near $700 now so wasn't sure) Thanks ahead.

(Btw....nice specs on your new laptop purchase)

Ichigeki is currently working on an update to the article, no idea when it will be published though.

For up to $600, this is the best option that I can find: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6834246328

RE: Would these specs run d3?
The video card is a notch faster and the CPU is significantly faster, so I'd be inclined to say that it is worth $70 more if you can afford it.

RE: Would these specs run d3?
My friend runs diablo3 on an old 3 years + quad cpu and a geforce 8800 gt.

Before my video card came in the mail I had to turn everything to low for the first 2 days of diablo3 and now I run all on high but to be truthful the graphics difference is really not that great. So even running diablo3 on lower settings is not a big deal imo.
