7850 cf question
I was wondering If I crossfired 7850's on a board with only one pci.e 3.0 slot would I really be getting best bang for my buck or should I look for another board ... also the cards only have one fan each but I dont think cooling will be a problem ill list the case, card, and mobo.

RE: 7850 cf question
It will cause micro-stuttering (frame rates jumping all around) if you put those cards in CF. I would recommend the minimum card for CF would be the 7870. You would probably be better off with a 7970($480) for the same price.

EDIT: Just make sure your CPU is powerful enough to not bottleneck the 7970.Wink

RE: 7850 cf question
xfire will still have problems, no matter which card you use. in some games worse than others. i would rather jump to the 7950.

but still, at 1080p and as long as you watch how much AA, MSAA you add that 7850 is still in the sweet spot for the price.
