Mobo recommendation
Hey everyone,

I just wanted to get some feedback on a good motherboard for my new setup. I don't mind spending ~$200. Here are the things that I have so far:

i5-3570K
Antec P280 XL-ATX Tower Case
Radeon HD 6950
Crucial M4 128GB 2.5" SATA III Solid State Drive (SSD)
Antec NEO ECO 620C 620W Continuous Power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS Power Supply

I would like to be able to potentially crossfire in the future.
Also I've read that the i5-3570 suffers from high heat with overclocking and in the future I would like to overclock. Can anyone give me input on whether I should get a high quality fan system: NZT Havik 140 or go with water cooling.

Thanks everyone!

RE: Mobo recommendation
You'll probably want to check out the new 77 series chipset mobos. They have all the latest and greatest features and support ivy bridge. You should also consider a Radeon 7850 generally a little better performance with much better power efficiency at around the same price. We generally recommend air cooling here over water cooling because there's less hassle and no potential risk for leaks. Feel free to buy the best air cooler system you can afford. Thermalright Silver Arrow is considered to be the best air cooler around right now.

Also a new mainstream gaming guide should be coming out soon, you can look for that and get some new ideas as well.

Awesome! Thanks for the advice. The only reason I got the Radeon 6950 was because it was on sale for $200

I'll check out the 77 series and be looking out for the new gaming guide. Any word on whether it will appear before the diablo 3 release Smile I'm trying to get the rig built by release day heh.
