Question about videocard
So I have a radeon HD 6870 videocard I am installing. I noticed there was 2 pci express power supplies needed. So I plugged them both in. However I noticed that the fan speed is significantly slower when both are plugged in yet is loud and fast when only one is plugged in... Is this suppose to happen? Also I noticed when plugging in the power cords, the force required to plug them in pushed the other side of the card out of its socket. Again is this normal? I cant really find anything to lock it into place, but it just seems odd for it to come out so easily.

Alright thanks for any info guys. Its my first build so i wanna make sure everything goes right.

RE: Question about videocard
Not sure why the fan spins faster with only one power connector, but in any case, you need to plug both.

To secure the video card, you need to screw the video card's bracket to the case.
