Random build questions
I built my i5-2500K / Radeon HD 7850 rig this weekend. It's pretty awesome. :-) But I do have a couple of random questions, this being my first build.

1) This is a NZXT Phantom 410 question. My front intake fan doesn't seem to work. The 3 case fans come pre-installed and hooked up to a controller. The other 2 fans work, so I don't think the controller is the problem. Probably just a dead fan, right? How do I go about getting a replacement -- do I contact NewEgg or NZXT? It's not worth trying to return the whole unit obviously, I would sooner buy a new fan myself than take everything apart, but I don't think I should have to pay for it since it was dead out of the box.

2) My case has a USB 3.0 plug for 2 top-mounted slots. My motherboard doesn't seem to accommodate this plug (Extreme3 Gen3). Is there anything I can do, or are those slots useless for me?

Thanks! Pictures to follow once I finish these odds and ends, plus I need to go back and improve my cabling and tie downs.

RE: Random build questions
1. I don't know since I have never owned an NZXT case, but will get the Switch 810 after i get my next paycheck.
2. You can plug the headers into a USB 2.0 port.

RE: Random build questions
1. Try hooking the fan to your motherboard or power supply to see if it works. If it doesn't, you'll have to go through NZXT to get a replacement, Newegg will ask for the whole case to replace it.
2. Not much you can do with those, other than ask NZXT if you can get a USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 header converter.

RE: Random build questions
I went to NZXT live chat support, and they're just sending me a new fan. Probably easier / cheaper than really trying to diagnose the problem.

I have enough USB ports for now so I guess I'll just let the 3.0 header be.

Let's see if I get the fan first before we crown them. :-)

RE: Random build questions
Thanks! It's good to know that type of card exists if I ever feel like I need more USB 3.0 ports. I'm pretty well covered right now, I have 6 USBs on the back of the case (2 of them 3.0) and 2 more USB 2.0 on the front. So unless I acquire 3 USB 3.0 devices that I want to use simultaneously -- I currently have zero -- I should be OK. I was just curious if I was missing something and you all would say "You just plug that thing over here and it works dummy." :-)
