Hybrid SSD questions
hi all, i'm considering upgrading the hard drive in my laptop and i was wondering if anyone had any opinions on hybrid SSD drives
my main questions are: - is the performance increase worth it? - are they reliable? - can you defrag them? specifically interested in the defragging option because i know your should never defrag an SSD but this is mostly HDD so it's got me confused the model i currently have is an OEM Hitachi Travelstar 0J11561 500GB the drive i am considering is a Seagate Momentus XT ST750LX003 750GB or Seagate Momentus XT ST95005620AS 500GB any help would be greatly appreciated. my laptop is an MSI GE620DX-278US Larriman |
