eMachine easy upgrade
Hello all,

Looking for a little help here. Which is the better CPU of the following:

Celeron D 346 3.06GHz
or
Pentium 4 540 3.2GHz

I'm trying to do a very minimal upgrade on an old work machine, and therefore am staying with stock parts as much as I can. From what I've read, I believe that the P4 is the better of the two. Am I correct?

Thank you for reading.Smile

RE: eMachine easy upgrade
Celeron is a downgrade compared to a Pentium 4. Th P4 is the better choice of the two.
