Hmm. I assume you are not using a driver utility and are getting them from the proper pages.

Have you tried calling the various companies. Like calling the video card maker and the cpu maker?

Ok, it seems to be working now, I just turned it off, and my computer had to install 40 odd updates.
Hopefully it stays that way.

Check the updates that Windows did and please list anything related to hardware (CPU, chipset, video, audio and the like).

Windows has a bad habit of installing older (slower) drivers.

from windows update, click view update history.

Ok, well, from what I can tell, they're all like "Security update for microsoft windows", "Update for microsoft windows" and "Update for microsoft .net".

And I'll have a look at the memory slots, I'll post what I find in a bit.
Ok, basically, I have no idea how drunk I was when I put this computer together, but the CPU fan came loose, I mean come on, how does that even happen? xD.
Oh well, it seems to be working, thanks for the help guys, and sorry it was just something that stupid xD.
