Panaflo 120x38mm High Speed fan
Just received the final part for my first build and was looking over the parts list so that I will better acquainted before I actually start the build. I have three questions about the Panaflo 120x38mm High Speed FBA12G12H1BX by NMB-MAT fan that MathieuB recommended for my build.

1) Is the fan suppose to mount on the inside of the airflow shrout?
2) where do I connect the wiring? I wasn't sure if I should get the three or four pin connectors so I got both.
3) I do not see the recommendation on the updated Tier section any longer. Does that mean I don't really need it?

1) Yes, with airflow going toward the video card(s).
2) Did you get the fan controller? If so, connect it to the fan controller. Otherwise, connect it to the motherboard via the 3 pin connector, which should allow you to control the fan with a program such as Speedfan.
3) It's simply because I changed the case recommendation and the fan should only be used in the GPU duct of the Cooler Master HAF 942/X.

Great! Yes I did get the fan controller but is it a better to change the fan contrtoler for a thermal/clock control panel instead that also has fan controls, so I can monitor the temps?

You can if you want to, but it isn't necessary. Besides, you can already monitor temps with Speedfan or a similar utility.
