Several sites tested this and the way that x-ImPuLse-PL- installed it is actually the optimal way. There's a reason why Corsair recommends to install it that way to begin with Wink

I'm not sure, to be honest. What program would you recommend I use to get an accurate reading for the core temps, at load and at idle? A program such as this? http://www.passmark.com/products/bit.htm

After trying HWMonitor several different times, the temperatures for all four cores idle at about 25 Celsius and after a 4 hour gaming session of Company of Heroes (Maxed out), the temperatures all stayed right below 50 Celsius. I'm quite happy with those results!
