System Panel Header
I am putting together a ASRock P67 Extreme4 with a CM HAF 932. I am looking at the system panel header and hooking up the reset wire. The pins on the bottom row are Ground - Reset - Dummy. I just want to be sure that the wire should be attached to the ground and reset pins and the dummy is just that... a useless pin. it just seems odd as I am have to flip the wire around compared to the HD wire.

Hope someone is still awake at this hour. Gonna be a long night.

EDIT - I think I got it. Upon close inspection of the actual board I believe it does go onto the Dummy pin. Sorry.

I had to give up last night around 12:30. I could not get the 7970 to seat properly. Going to take it all apart, take the mobo out, put the gpu on and try to fit them both in the case at once.

Can't get this card in there right. Driving me nuts. It doesn't seemed to be supported very well. I feel like I am missing something very important and very obvious. I took the mobo out and put the card in the PCIE slot and it seemed to fit okay but by the time I got the entire thing back in the case it did not appear to be all the way in there (seated in the slot). It seems like it's just barely hanging off the mobo.

You did screw the card PCI bracket to the case PCI slot, right? Wink

RE: System Panel Header
That was where I was having issues. I have a HAF 932 so it doesn't really have a screw. But I couldn't get the latch to snap down on to the bracket. There was a latch on the other end of the slot I missed. Once I slid that over the end of the card it fit down just fine. Other than that this build went rather smoothly. The case is so large that there is plenty of room to work plus tool-less feature made things easy. I am up and running with 64 bits of high octane Radeon power.
