Web PC
I am building the web pc for my parents and have a few questions.
I used all the parts from the guide except for ram and the case. I ended up using http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6820231394 due to recomended ram being out of stock. Will this cause a problem? For the case I used http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6811119227 due to size constraints of their desk. This case only has the 1 fan do I need to add additional fans? Also which direction should i mount the power supply fan up or down? If it matters it will be in one of those desk with the wooden enclosure for the case. |

I would probably recommend 8GB of RAM over 4GB, and it's not much more to do that. As for the case, it should be a problem, but once again, which make were you modeling this on? |

RE: Web PC
No problem with the RAM.
I'd mount the PSU with the fan facing up. I'd add a single exhaust fan at the back of the case (next to where the CPU will be). This is my recommendation: It's inexpensive, reliable and fairly quiet: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6835150073

RE: Web PC
Thanks for the info. This is my fist build and I am a little confused I can only see one spot on the motherboard to connect a fan do I just need to plug the fans strait into the power supply?

RE: Web PC
Yes, you can plug the case fans straight into the power supply.

RE: Web PC
Not really, as long as it doesn't show any undesired behavior, you're fine.
