Finished!
Hello HR Big Grin

I just finished building my rig. It was a bit frustrating at times, especially when doing all the wiring, but it all worked out.
I have a question, I hooked up my case fans to my PSU instead of my motherboard, I read that's OK. Whats the difference between them being connected to the MoBo or the PSU?

Here are the picsBig Grin

I want to thank the administrator, and the moderators, as well as the members of HR for helping me out with this build. Very much appreciated.

Also, last question xD: How do I know I'm running the latest Direct X ?

1. the MB connection allow the fans to be controlled by the MB and the psu are in full all the time.
2. click start button an at the bottom of the bar there is a search tool type dixdiag and will appear the system information

Congratulations on your new build Big Grin

"I hooked up my case fans to my PSU instead of my motherboard, I read that's OK. Whats the difference between them being connected to the MoBo or the PSU?"

Running your case fans from the PSU is perfectly fine. The only difference is that connecting them to the motherboard allows you to monitor their speed and in some cases, control their speed.
