Which SSD would you choose?
As the title says, which one of those two SSDs would you choose?

Corsair Force 115GB SATA II 280MB/s Reads, 270MB/s Writes, $157
or
Corsair Force 3 90GB SATA III 550MB/s Reads, 500MB/s Writes $150

Trying to figure out which one to recommend in "The Best SSDs and HDDs For Your Money" article.

Thanks Smile

115GB. It's important to recognize that if you take the sequential speeds, the performance difference looks huge, but in the real world, it's really not anywhere near that substantial.

I agree, either SSD is a huge improvement over a HDD, due to their much lower access times and much lower latency.

I voted on Facebook as well but I went with the 115gb for similar reasons to Brian and I'm a data hoarder.

Re: Which SSD would you choose?
I have been using a 64 gig hd for so long that I would prefer performance over size. So I got used to not having much space.

Sent from my rooted EVO 4g using tapatalk.

RE: Which SSD would you choose?
I used to have a Vertex 2 and now I have a Corsair force 3. Benchmarks say its twice as fast, but I boot 2 seconds slower now and experience the same if not slower speeds. Id recommend the Corsair 115gb.
