Best Gaming Rig Under 2000 or under
I am new to building PCs, as this is my first time, and I was wondering what are the best parts for me to get. I am hoping for good graphics and good processing power. I know that 2600k is a good choice for processing power, but I am having a dilemma with the graphics cards and motherboard because I have no idea what would the best bang for the buck would be. Other reviews said that 2 Radeon 6950 Crossfired would be a good choice. The final price that you guys get for me should include a monitor as well, preferably an LED. The final price can go to 2100 with the monitor. I want to be able to play games like BF3 on like, max setting, with a good frame rate. Thanks for the future help

There is a very detailed tiered system to help you choose what's best, and encompasses any and all recommendations that we could give you as far as the performance/price ratio is concerned.

http://www.hardware-revolution.com/high-...2011-v250/

The cheapest one in this link is 1800, which would leave plenty for a monitor in your budget.

h100 because it cools better than any air system and ill be getting the 4 cougar vortex v12-hp fans for nothing and it will fit perfectly on the top of my case and ill be able to see my lovely mobo , granted its a little more expensive esp if i had to pay for the 4 extra fans but i only said to the op that its a guideline to the rig he wants not the one he should build

Performance of the H100 is about the same as the NH-D14/Silver Arrow.

Look at the RPM in the charts: 2,600RPM.

So 1C degree better, but wayyy noisier.

I'll dispute the "better" results actually. The consensus is that they're about the same. CPU cooler tests tend to be not scientific. Those results seem a bit off, considering they show that the Phanteks is better than the Silver Arrow. . .
