Another Question, which is better?

Asus P8P67 Pro
or
ASRock Z68 Extreme 4-Gen3 (this is the one recommended on H-R.com)

Please advise explain why, so I can learn?

The main reason that I recommend the ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 over other LGA1155 motherboards is the fact that it comes with PCI-Express 16x Generation 3.0 as opposed to Generation 2.0 slots found on other motherboards.

This basically means that this motherboard won't bottleneck future faster video cards say in 2 to 4 years from now. In other words, it is more future-proof.

Other note-worthy reasons that I recommend it over the ASUS board:
- Premium Gold Caps and 100% Japan-made high-quality Conductive Polymer Capacitors (higher reliability)
- LED debug (useful if the PC doesn't work on the first time.)
- It supports older LGA775 CPU Coolers (useful if you're upgrading from an older build)
- Molex plug next to the top PCI-Express 16x slot, delivering more power to the video cards. Useful when overclocking.
