Is trim set up from instalation when you have windows 7, or is there something I need to do to enable this? I haven't found a good answer browsing online.

Yeah you set it up when you install Windows. Also the BIOS has to be running the drive in AHCI mode instead of IDE.

I did change the BIOS to AHCI, I'll have to check out windows to see where to go to install it.

*As far as I can tell, it seems to set itself all up on install of windows 7. It detects that the drive is a SSD and sets itself up.
