first build tier 8ish
This was my first build and everything went incredibly smooth. I was happy with the results and my only complaint would be the mess that my PSU left. I got a great deal on the cougar 850 when it hit newegg, but it seems the PSU was designed to be mounted in the top of the case because all of my connecting points for certain parts had to be flipped 180 degrees and made things a lil messy. (but i cant complain it was cheap). The sheathing on the wires from the PSU also push out the back of the case a little bit because the main power supply wiring/sheath is so thick. The only thing i had to change in the bios was the ram defaults at 1.65 volts/1600 because the bios detected it as 1.5/1333 so i had to change those. It was a tight fit between the heat sinks on the hyper x's and the cpu cooler. I had to put the cooler moving air vertically (how i wanted it anyways) because it would not clear the heat sinks horizontally and i had to put the first two sticks of ram in before the cooler.

Heres the parts list

Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
COUGAR SX850 COUGAR-SX850 850W

Very nice but there's no way to set that CPU cooler side way?
I think airflow like that would be better than the top down.

the pc has an idle temp of

c1 - 41C
c2 - 34C
c3 - 35C
c4 - 35C

does this seem right for all the components i have in there? the case has 1 200mm fan and 3 120mm fans in it along with my A70

RE: first build tier 8ish
well after a lot of tweaking i finally got my WEI up to

processor - 7.6
RAM - 7.8
graphics 7.9
gaming graphics 7.9
primary hard disk 7.9

with no overclocking. moved my cooler horizontally and redid my thermal paste and lowered my temps 3 degrees. soon ill oc a bit just so i can see 7.9s across the board. ( i know WEI is a bad bench but i still want 7.9s)
