$842 after rebates, actually.
I'll put up some pictures this weekend, I expect all the parts to arrive by Friday. |

RE: $1000 Gaming PC
My current build started as an 850 but after some LONG reading I'm sure it has increased allot. I was all set on an i5 760 and 1156. After much reading and future proof talk it looks like I am going to go with a low level i7 950 and 1366 since it is only $30.00 more at the micro center about 1/2 hour away. 199.00 for i7 as opposed to 169.00 for i5. Now my next dilema is a decent motherboard that will give me x16 x16 for 100% sli when I get to that point. Also 6gbs sata and usb 3.0. Not sure what board would fit my needs for now and in the future. I am willing to spend about 225 on the board if needed. I currently have a HAF922 and N520 cooler that I picked up at micro center for 19.99 one day sale when i went there for the haf922 for 79.99.
Next Purchases i7 950 Asus DRW dvd burner x 2 Samsung F3 500GB Corsair 850TX psu ASRock X58 supreme motherboard ? Gskill 6GB DDR3 1600 Thoughts? Suggestions? |
