your experiences with PNY
So I finally did the deed and bought a PNY GTX 580 for $499.99 with a free HDMI to mini-HDMI cable and a free copy of HAWX2. I bought it directly from PNY since Newegg didn't offer the game in the bundle and was $30.00 more expensive.

I've never had a PNY product, I'd love to hear about anyone's experiences with the company.

I was never e-mailed a tracking number, although I did order Friday night, so it's possible the order wont get fully processed till Monday.

RE: your experiences with PNY
I have had several video cards from them, past 10 years, so nothing new. I never had a problem with them myself. I never did any kind of research of my computer parts back then though. Still, no problems with mine.

RE: your experiences with PNY
I threw a PNY GTS 250 in an old machine as an upgrade to a Geforce 7950 and couldn't be happier with it. It runs cool and quiet. Had it for about a year and a half and never a problem.

Excellent company, comparable to the like of EVGA. I have no problem recommending them.

RE: your experiences with PNY
I just received my GTX 580 from them tonight. Weird thing though lol.
I was afraid that UPS would leave the package on my front door so I wrote on the address "main office" without my unit number so the UPS guy would leave it at the office. So I get back from work with 1 minute to spare before the main office closes. I ask the guy if a package came, and he looks through the packages he as there and says he doesn't have it. I then go to my apartment, "unlock" the door and my package is sitting on my kitchen counter.

who the F*ck when inside my house

lol?

That guy isn't the only works there, it's a big complex so there is like five people there during the day. I guess one of the other ones brought it into my apartment. Still seems like a strange thing to do...I'm gonna go ask tomorrow exactly what happened. I mean have you ever had something delivered inside your house without you knowing about it?

Oh, and the GTX580 is a monster looking card. Can't wait to put the computer together tomorrow. Hope I don't run into any hitches, gonna review a building video tonight I think before I go to bed. Wish me luck Smile
