RE: Integrating old parts to new gaming PC
Thanks for the heads-up about the optical drive.
I'm not totally familiar with the benefits of overclocking. Is there a primer somewhere about it that you recommend? If I do decide to overclock, what power supply should I get? Is the Rosewill 650W 80plus Bronze sufficient? My build is now: CPU: Tier 5-6-7: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4-3.8GHz Turbo Unlocked Multiplier 77W Motherboard: Tier 5-6-7: BIOSTAR TZ77XE3 Z77 SATA6Gb/s USB3.0 Better for CPU OC RAM: Tier 6-7: Corsair 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1600MHz CAS 10 1.5v Video Card: Tier 4: Geforce GTX 660 2GB OC Dual fans Storage: Tier 4-5: Sandisk Extreme 2.5″ 120GB SATA III SSD Cooling: Tier 5-6-7: NZXT Havik 140 Dual Fans CPU Cooler |
