Have you checked the connectors leading from your mobo to the front panel?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers a few times, just to see if maybe the installation was bad. Didn't solve anything. I'm seriously wondering if its my board. Cause when I plug in my headset to the back plugs on my motherboard, nothing happens at all. Sound just stays in the speakers. Yep, I also checked the connectors they are all in place and nothing is loose. Might have to RMA this board or something.

Just tried the headset on out laptop and it works just fine, i can plug it in and out with out the sound going to the speakers. So its not the headset.
