Low-No Noise Cases - dstryrwiz - 12-24-2011

Would the Fractal Design Define XL (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352018) be better than the Antec P280? And if not between these 2 cases, is there a different/better case you would recommend? I definitely want/need a low to no noise case, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Those two are the best. Pick the one you think looks best.

Which is quiter? And do they cool as well as each other?

They're competitive with each other.

Is there any advantage to one over the other?

It's close, but look at this short overview of the differences.

They compare the P280 and the R3, not the XL, in that review.

The XL is just a bigger version of the R3.

I compared the 3 cases, and there are actually a bunch of differences between the R3 and the XL, and it seems as though those differences sway me in favor of the XL over the R3 and the P280. Now however I think I ended up with a couple of fans I didn't necessarily need, or may have been better off using different fans, but it's not the worst thing in the world to deal with. The XL supports primarily 140mm fans, even having a 180mm fan built in for exhaust, so my 2 120mm fans I just bought may not have been the best choice, but I should hopefully still be able to put them to use, and I probably just need to buy another 140mm fan. Is there a low noise 140mm fan that anyone may be able to recommend?
