ASRock Extreme Vs Fatal1ty - dstryrwiz - 12-24-2011

What makes one line better than the other? Or is the Extreme line the flagship line with the Fatal1ty line the second highest? From recent research, the ASRock Extreme9 is looking like the best X79 board currently available, but I'm not too familiar with ASRock and I don't know if it's worth waiting on their upcoming line.

The Fatality PROFESSIONAL is usually ASRock's flagship motherboard.

I personally consider that line-up overpriced compared to the Extreme line-up, with few features that I'd consider worth the extra cash.

I also conisder the ASRock Extreme 9 one of the best X79 board currently available and recommend it as an higher-end alternative to the Extreme 4 for the High-End Gaming PCs.

My build is for a workstation, so would the Extreme 9 be your choice pick for that?

Definitely. The Fatality line-up is geared toward "extreme" gamers, not workstations.

Okay, thanks.
