Quick question. Thinking of switching to this case which has a notice saying "Please make sure your motherboard equipped with on-board USB 3.0 socket before purchasing." I see that my mobo has USB 3.0 but I'm unsure about a USB 3.0 socket.

Is a socket different than a port? Is it for the "internal 20-pin connector to MB" also mentioned in the detail tab for the case?

What does it mean exactly and why does the case need it?

Full build information is located here.
The case probably had USB3 ports on it and the cable is probably has the 20 pin connection that plugs into the motherboard's USB3 header. You can get expansion cards that have the connection you would need.
Nope, that motherboard doesn't have an USB 3.0 20-in internal header.

It simply means that with that motherboard, you wouldn't be able to use the USB 3.0 ports on the front of the case. It wouldn't prevent your PC from working though.

Speaking of that motherboard, it has pretty terrible reviews, I'd stay away from it either way.
