Microcenter has a great deal for i7 2600k for $200(pickup only). I was planning on building a tier 4/5 computer in july, but since this is a great deal do you think I should jump on it? An i7 is definitely overkill for what I need (strategy games on high 1080p such as SCII/Swotor/Shogun II), so I would still be sticking to the majority of components listed in tier 4/5 for cost savings. Or should I just wait until closer to the summer for ivy bridge and wait for an i5 price drop? This deal just seams to good to pass up. Thanks for your advice.

Looks like all their sandy bridge cpu's are on sale. But that 2600k seems like quit a deal. Might have to make a trip to st. louis...
Prices on previous generation of Intel CPUs don't tend to fall, so I would get that great deal Wink
Man, I just ordered my i5-2500K for $10 more last week. Unfortunately it is a replacement-only return policy at NewEgg otherwise I would send it back and grab one of these! A tremendous deal.
Why can't Microcenter have more locations Angry.
