First of all, this is my first time building a PC or owning one. I have always had laptops (i have an old Alienware laptop) and I've always wanted to build a PC. I play games a lot, and i would like to have 2 monitors. Also i live in Mexico so i dont have the same parts availability (i can probably get any parts i need but it would take a longer time) people in the US have.

So are these core parts good for a pc (compatible and so on) and common?

CPU - Intel Core i5-2500K
Motherboard - Asus p8268-V LX
RAM - Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
Video Card - Radeon HD 6870 1Gb
Storage - Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Are there any restrictions in the case i need to be aware of if i buy these parts? and can i use two monitors with these parts?
Looks good, just keep in mind that you want to make sure you get a decent psu (power supply). One of the things I see on forum is people in more remote areas often have to make do with low quality psus. A bad psu can fry multiple components of your system.
Also, do you wish to play games on 2 monitors at the same time?
Ill take the PSU thing into account, i think i will be ordering the Case and Psu from the US. and for the monitors, no, i just want to play in one.

and thanks for answering

Yeah I looked up the motherboard, should be fine with that i5 2500, looks like you've got a solid build!
