ok, i find the most annoying and frustrating part to building a comp is screwing in the tiny screws on the mb. especially because its hard to screw in a few of the screws near the back of the computer with a screwdriver. how do you guys deal? am i the only one that finds this annoying? is it just my case or the location of the screws on my mb? just curious. oh and i have finished the build. but thinking about in the future. Smile. appreciate any hints and tips
I have a special screwdriver. Its about 3-4" long and you just put pressure on the top and spin the body w other hand. The top rotates independently. I do hate putting those in also. Guess thats why I got to do it like 20 times with this build I just did trying to troubleshoot my stupid mistake.
Tilt your case on its side, it should make it easier.
Just making sure, you do put the motherboard risers (gold screws that you screw into the case) and you're screwing the motherboard screws into them, right?

Also, make sure to not screw the motherboard too tight, that will damage it.

yup. standoffs are there. just was looking for some tips on making the process of putting in those screws easier. for example, last time i took my mb out to put my cpu cooler in i lost one of my screws. no big deal but it was rly annoying trying to get it out. anyways thanks for the tips andrew and perry. i hope a few more come in Smile
